New Mary’s Book Coming Soon Kentucky Folktales: Revealing Stories, Truths, and Outright Lies by Mary Hamilton – will be available to all in 2012. Mary delivered her first book manuscript to the publisher, University Press of Kentucky, in June 2011. The book contains stories Mary tells – written with language and structure as close to how she tells them as possible. (Sometimes a gesture or facial expression in live performance really does need words to replace it in print). Each story is followed by commentary which tells how the telling came to be.
